Meet Ferhat Albayrak, a true Techno aficionado born in the vibrant city of Istanbul. From the very beginning, Techno has been Ferhat’s chosen medium to express himself through the power of the beat.
In the chaotic and diverse backdrop of Istanbul, Ferhat finds inspiration for his dynamic, distinctive, seductive, innovative, and soulful Techno sound. His journey into the world of professional DJing began in 1996, navigating through radiowaves, clubs, events, and festivals. Over the years, he has become an experienced and sought-after Techno DJ in Turkey, sharing the stage with global superstars like Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Tiësto, and many more.
Yearning for global recognition, Ferhat embarked on the production path in 2006, shaping and molding his own tracks. The year 2007 marked the release of his music on labels like Restructured, Advanced, and *Cutz, catching the attention of none other than the mighty Carl Cox. His debut as a producer on Carl Cox’s “King of Clubs, Six years at Space” Double-CD Compilation with the track “Let the game begin” garnered widespread acclaim from Techno stars worldwide.
Carl Cox continued to support Ferhat, featuring his track “Giga Tanz” on the “Ultimate Compilation” in 2008. Ferhat’s global presence soared as he participated in major events like “Global Gathering UK” and the “Giant” Love Parade in Dortmund.
A pivotal moment in his career came in 2009 when he played at Space Ibiza’s main stage alongside Carl Cox. This marked the beginning of Ferhat’s journey as a global DJ, with a return to Space Ibiza in 2012, performing at the famous “covered terrace.”
To broaden his sonic reach, Ferhat founded Jeton Records in 2009. The label is not just a platform for his own productions and remixes but also a global home for extraordinary Techno hits from top-tier artists and emerging talents. Jeton Records is widely recognized as one of the best upcoming Techno labels in the world.
