Hakka will be taking us on a journey into the best of trance & hard trance every 2nd Thursday from 10pm.
Hakka is a DJ and Producer from the South West of England. He's been DJ'ing in clubs across the UK since 2002 and has held a residency for Hard Dance event Premonition for 15 years. He is also a part of UK label Terminal Trax through which he has released various Hard Trance and Hardstyle tracks. His DJ’ing career has seen him share the line-ups with countless major artists such as Showtek, Scot Project, Uberdruck, Blutonium Boy, Kamui, Trance Generators, Activator, Mark EG, M-Zone and Organ Donors to name a few.
Hard Trance and oldskool Hardstyle has been very much at the centre of his DJ sets or productions. Trance and Techno are also genres of great interest with the odd set featuring at times. Core influences have been Hard Trance from early 2000’s from artists such as SHOKK, Flutlicht, Kamui, Slideout, Uberdruck, Schwarzen Puppen, Russenmafia, Andrea Montorsi, Luca Antolini, DuMonde and Alphazone. Hardstyle influences have mostly come from Italy and Holland in the form of Technoboy and Zany.
Hakka has over 15 track releases under his belt on labels such as Hyper Reality, Terminal Trax, GT Digital, Error 303 and Fatal Energy. He has collabs with Noizy Boy under an alias of Audio Assault, and tracks working with fellow South West artist Pete Kingwell. Hakka also recently won the Hyper Reality Remix Competition of 2019 on a collaboration track with Pete Kingwell.

Dr Joiner's surgery is open every 1st Thursday for Consultation Hour, a very unique blend of synth & electronica from the 1970s to the present day, from 9pm on Safehouse Radio.
Dr. Joiner started DJing in the mid-nineties. He quickly specialized in Detroit, minimal techno, Schranz and acid with artists like DBX, Wolfgang Voigt, Neil Landstrumm and Moritz von Oswald - labels like Peacefrog, Basic Channel, Chain Reaction. He himself listened to techno trance from labels like Superstition, Harthouse and Eye-Q.
Last year Joiner switched from Serato and vinyl mixing to digital formats and expanded his musical spectrum to include melodic techno. But his heart still beats for straight techno - direct and without frills. His sets are characterized by a steady increase in tempo and hardness, which - at least in live performance - still likes to culminate in Neil Landstrumms classic Finnish Deception: Boom!
His penchant for straightforward music can already be found in the influences of hard Westcoast rap since the late 80s and Kraftwerk, but also early EBM and Industrial with parallels in the early Neue Deutsche Welle from Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft and Palais Schaumburg to Andreas Dorau and current releases such as from the Kernkrach label and bands like Kühle Matrosen. Joiner is currently part of the popular Hamburg NAUTILUS collective, which organizes club events and techno open-airs in and around Hamburg.
Since mid-2020, Dr. Joiner has joined Safehouse Radio and delivers his two-hour show "Dr. Joiner's Consultation-Hour", "the show where the rainbows are dancing their butts off" every first Thursday of the month. In the first hour Dr. Joiner presents crazy and confused, funny and strange, hard and soft tracks from many years of electronic music: "The madness goes on", "pearls from the realm of unconscious" - broken English free house. In the second hour Dr. Joiner boards a feisty techno set with current hammers directly for the club.
So, folks, "Join the Joiner" here on Safehouse Radio!
