So, Its all started for Mr.Mr with dance music when a friend brought around Ministry Of Sound - The Annual 3 mixed by Pete Tong & Boy George and he loved it straight away. That then led him to mainstream trance, tunes like For An Angel, Diving Faces, Gouryella & Out The Blue, to name a few.
He started on CDJ's in his bedroom and when a few mates came round they'd take all the kit into the shed and annoy the neighbours for a couple of hours.
At this point Mr.Mr was being nagged by a mate to go along to an underground club night called Skankadelic a few times. He finally gave and it was the best desision he'd ever made! He went to pretty much every one for the next 5 years & got to see some of the best underground acts & DJ's at the time there, the likes of K90, Nuw Idol, Orpheus 2, Pranksterz, Beamish, Oberon, Thermobee & Orange Peel, amongst many others.
But through Skankadelic, Mr.Mr found hard house and was hooked! He found out about a night at a place called Crazy Daisies & there saw Fergie, Lisa Lashes & Anne Savage on a regular basis. This is when he decided to ditch his CDJ's and buy some turntables.
Around 2002 Mr.Mr got to play at Skankadelic and a hard house night which was held in the same club as Skanadelic called Broken, where the likes of Tony Heron, Andy Farley, Ilogik and Smokin' Burt Cooper played. Going to and playing at these nights made him want to start his own night up & called it Energycore.
In 2005 Mr.Mr started to favour hardcore to hard house because hard house was changing, for hime the fun had gone out of it & there was a massive techno influence in it.
It was playing hardcore that he got to play at few nights all over the place... Hardcore Heaven (Bristol Academy) twice, filling in for Mark EG on the main stage. He also played Digital Fusion Presents Terminal (easily the biggest line up he's been on) (London), United Federation Of Hardcore (Banbury, Subway City & Nothampton), Infexion (Northampton), Cyberlife (Goole), Masters Of Hardcore (Bristol), Bass Disfunktion (Whtney) and Contagious To The Core (Leicester). Mr.Mr has also played along side some some of the biggest names in hardcore like Sy, Joey Riot, Darren Styles, Dougal, Gammer, Hixxy, Sharky, Rob IYF & Riko.
He's collaborated with JoeyRiot for the single Joey Riot vs Mr.MR & Chemtox - Rock The House and has also worked with Riko with 4 releases to date, Power Of The Mind, Speakers Bout 2 Blow, Earthquake and Begin.
If you like it hard... you know where to go!

For Clo, music is in her blood and always has been. Her parents are both professional musicians and as a result she spent her childhood learning Violin, Piano, Clarinet and Saxophone.
This didn't stop her as a teenager however, from falling in love with the Trance and Happy Hardcore scenes.
This led to an eventual and fairly natural desire to explore the club scene and so in 1997 Clo took the plunge and experienced her first ever lust for DJ'ing whilst at one of the early Slinky sessions at Bournemouth's legendary Opera House venue. Little did she know that a decade on she would be playing there herself as a resident, this time under the banner of the massive South Coast brand Fusion.
Clo bought her first set of turntables in 1998, where she taught herself to mix Trance. In the early 2000’s she found herself in the harder styles of dance music, including Hard Trance, Hard House and Hardcore.
Clo performed under the name Clodhopper between 2004 and 2011 in the UK Hardcore scene, where she regularly performed for top brands such as Hardcore Heaven, Hardcore 'til I die, Raverbaby and Uproar, alongside many smaller brands across the UK and regular international bookings. Clodhopper held residencies for several events including the Core Addicts Nose & Lips brand, Hardcore Marrows, Digital Accleration and the almighty smash hit sell-out UK Hardcore event Fusion.
In the studio she worked closely with Raw Elements' DJ [email protected] for the Raw Elements label and has also worked with Hardcore legend DJ Ramos on his infamous RSR label on several tracks.
As a producer, Clodhopper was also signed to the Electrik Euphoria label owned and operated by MC Marley.
In 2012 Clo took a break from the Hardcore scene to focus on having a family. In the past few years Clo has spent much of her social time in Trance events across Europe, which has inspired Clo to start performing again... but this time under a new name and with a stronger passion for music.
Clo de Rae has been running a monthly podcast on Soundcloud for over year, which can be heard first on SafeHouse Radio. As well as this she has had guest mixes on Ultimate Dance Radio, Discover Trance and has more to be announced soon.
Clo has also played at Teddy Rocks festival, Teddy Raves and was due to play at Global Language and Teddy Rocks festival again this year, however both have been postponed due to the current situation.
Make sure you follow Clo de Rae on the following links to keep informed of her new music information, gigs and to check out her podcasts.

When Audio Menace was 18 friends of his talked him in to going to a local dance music night he'd never heard of before called Skankadelic, and from the moment his foot stepped in and he felt the bass thunder through his chest & his life was changed. He didn't miss a Skankadelic for next 5 years. Seeing great live acts such as K90, Nuw Idol, The Secret and Orpheus 2, alongside brilliant underground Acid Trance and NRG DJ's like Beamish & Oberon, Psynrg, Thermobee and Juno.

At the same time Audio Menace was visiting Gatecrasher where he'd see terrific Trance DJ's like Guy Ornadel and John Kelly and another local club called Crazy Daisies who would regularly put on Hard House giants such as Lisa Lashes and Fergie.

It was in 2002 he started attending raves too & was blown away by the Hardcore Techno rooms and also by Sharkey and Energy blasting out Freeform alongside Mark EG & M-Zone in the Hard Trance rooms.

It was in the early 2000s Audio Menace invested in turntables and along with a few friends of his, started hiring out village halls under the guise of a birthday party and putting a rave on instead.

After a few hundred unexpected people came to what turned out to be the last one he would put on, he decided to hire out proper venues and book big name DJ's like DJ Sy and Joey Riot to play.

The Energycore nights were predominantly Hardcore and Freeform events so to give him the ability to play at any time in the main room he taught myself to play early Hardstyle 33rpm records on 45rpm, essentially bringing them up to Freeform speed.

But his main love has always been Hard Trance, Acid Trance and NRG although he's been known to spin Progressive, Freeform and Hardcore Techno too.
His favourite labels include Telica, Deep Mission, Acid Test Pressings, Tinrib, Ef.adrine, Wicked! and Spinball.

With Hypnotic Pulse you can expect underground Acid Trance, Hard Trance & NRG with the occasional suprise thrown in, all mixed on vinyl!
